Digging a New Well

Well Digger

April 7

We finally bit the bullet and dug our own well.  Before this momentous occasion, the tasting room and the caretaker's home were getting water from a cistern that was filled twice a month from a well about 20 acres away.

The digging went through 485 feet of solid Andesite rock before we hit water.  Now we have some of the cleanest water in Washington State.  After your wine tasting, refresh yourself with a glass of our "Andesite filtered" and chlorine free water.
