Bright aromas of Chambord, cassis, pencil lead, damp earth and mocha are framed by toasty oak, toffee and barrel spice. In the mouth it displays juicy black cherry and ripe plum flavors
Dark brick red in color. The aroma is classic Nebbiolo, with violets and rose petals in the nose. This wine is powerful and finishes with strong tannins, indicating long aging potential.
The 2003 Red Mountain Melange aroma is redolent of cassis and herbs. It exhibits good structure and the capacity to age for many years. Old world in style but still with the indelible mark of Red Mountain terroir.
Dive into this extraordinary Pinot Gris from our high altitude volcanic soil vineyard. Lush ripe Bosc pear, golden delicious apple, cardamom spice and a hint of grapefruit and Mandarin.
The taste of Tuscany in a glass! The Wilridge 2006 Sangiovese is bright cherry in color with a bouquet that also exhibits hints of cherry. The flavors are bold with a bright beam of acidity one expects from a great Sangiovese
From the oldest block in Washington's Grand Cru vineyard comes this lovely rich and balanced Chardonnay. Aromas of mandarin orange, apple tart tatin, wet stone and mineral precede flavors of orange, mango, hazelnut and spice.
This Syrah is similar to Cote Rotie in style – with a rich, almost smoky flavor. For the second year in a row, the Syrah and Viognier at Elephant Mountain Vineyard ripened at the same time, allowing us to coferment the Syrah with a small amount of Viognier. The tiny amount of Viognier brings out the aroma of the wine and is a secret of wines from the Cote Rotie on the Rhone River in Southern France. Enjoy Wilridge Syrah with hearty winter fare such as stews and grilled meats, or chill it a bit and try it with barbecue.
This is no wimpy Merlot, but a structured red from one of Washington's most prestigious vineyards. With six years of age, it's ready to drink now . ON SALE-$19
Indulge your senses in our first release of Syrah under our NHV label. This 6th leaf Syrah is grown at 1800’ elevation on the Goat Rocks Andesite lava flow ten miles west of Yakima above the Naches Valley.
Welcome to this intensely aromatic example of Riesling from NHV for 2009. Please enjoy the rich tropical fruit nose accented with hints of that Riesling "petrol." Juicy fruit gum, banana, passion fruit, papaya and mango fill the mouth upon entry. And we hate to think what they do upon exit. Who writes this stuff?
